Responsibilities of our RARE Experience Guide include, but are not limited to:

  • Complying with Provincial and Federal regulations
  • Completing and maintaining SellSafe Certifications
  • Providing product knowledge on cannabis products and lifestyle accessories
  • Navigating customers through their cannabis journey
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate sales and point of sale operations, with strong attention to detail
  • Inventory management
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and fun workplace
  • Always learning – staying on top of legislation and the latest cannabis trends
  • Store organization and cleaning/cleanliness
  • Attending staff meetings, team building events and giving back to the community
  • Ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Being the best you, every day!

Qualities of a RARE Experience Guide:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Post- Secondary Education/Degree (preferred, not required)
  • Team player – you value integrity, trust, inclusivity and honesty
  • Continuous learner – you believe in always learning, feedback and mentorship
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Retail and sales experience (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to use/learn basic POS systems
  • AGLC SellSafe Certification
  • Must complete AGLC background check and Qualified Cannabis Worker Application
