Our story starts back in 2018, when the concept of RARE & it’s terpene-forward experience was born. After a long-awaited moratorium of Alberta’s cannabis licenses, RARE Cannabis Co. proudly opened its doors in July of 2019.
We have been re-inventing the cannabis shopping experience ever since.
We are a local and independently owned shop, and we do things differently. We are not about Indica, Sativa or Hybrids. We break cannabis cultivars down to their terpene profiles so you can navigate moods and experiences to find the high you desire.
It’s been a great evolution to see the cannabis industry adopt terpene transparency; we see it as a crucial step in eradicating the tired, old & inaccurate image of “lazy stoners”, and helping people discover the beauty of balanced & functional highs that elevate and inspire your mood.
